SystemBase launches Eddy v2.5 series
Eddy v2.5 series now runs GNU/Linux 2.6.21 at 400 MHz.
Bünde, Germany, October 2010
SystemBase has recently launched a new embedded module: Eddy v2.5 series. While the existing Eddy v2.1 uses the Lemonix operating system, the newly launched Eddy v2.5 adopts the standard Linux 2.6.21. Due to open source, users can now change options and compile the kernel as the need arises. Eddy CPU v2.5 not only shows improvement in the clock speed of 400 MHz (two times faster than that of the existing version) but it also proves full compatibility with Eddy v2.1 series. Eddy v2.5 series consists of: CPU module, development kit, WiFi, Bluetooth and device server. For the details, please visit www.trenz-electronic.de.
