Trenz Electronic introduces new Spartan-6 industrial-grade FPGA module
Xilinx Spartan-6 industrial-grade FPGA micromodule with Gigabit Ethernet Transceiver, large DDR SDRAM and small dimensions, ready for use.
Bünde (Germany), January 2010
Trenz Electronic, announces the availability of its TE0600 series, a family of FPGA-based industrial micromodules for harsh environments and pervasive deployment
TE0600 integrate a leading-edge Xilinx Spartan-6 FPGA, a gigabit Ethernet transceiver, 2 independent 1GB (128-MByte) DDR3 SDRAMs with 16-bit width, 8-MByte Flash memory for configuration and operation, and powerful switch-mode power supplies for all on-board voltages. A large number of configurable I/Os are provided via rugged highspeed stacking strips. The modules has low dimensions of 50 mm x 40 mm. Customized versions, as well as modules with industrial-grade components are available upon request.
Developed as a powerful OEM module, combined with an evaluation board the TE0600 is perfectly suitable for educational and research activities. Reference design for high-speed data transfer over Ethernet is included.
