Trenz Electronic signs distribution agreement with GlobalTop Technology

Trenz Electronic (Germany) distributes GlobalTop Technology (Taiwan) GPS receivers and modules.

Trenz Electronic GmbH (Germany) signs a distribution agreement with GlobalTop Technology Inc. (Taiwan) at CeBIT 2010 in Hanover for the distribution and support of its GPS receivers and modules in Germany and Europe (Benelux, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland and Sweden excluded).

GlobalTop GPS receivers and modules utilize the latest Mediatek MT3329 single chip GPS technology. Continuing the pursuit of a higher level of GPS penetration, GlobalTop has once again broken barriers of size and functionality at a minimum price, while preserving the ease of use and quality that stem from previous SL3 and SL series.

Its 66-channel GPS receivers and modules come with an ultra high sensitivity of -165 dBm that can receive GPS signals even under the harshest conditions, a maximum update rate of 10 Hz for high speed applications, AGPS, DGPS plus RTCM support, multi-path detection and compensation, a very low power consumption and an integrated USB interface. The pre-sales and post-sales support as well as the usual firmware customization services offered by GlobalTop ensure that any application achieves the maximum performance possible.
