SystemBase Eddy versions

The modules are available in the following versions.

Eddy V2.1 Series

The Eddy V2.1 modules  based on a 32-bit ARM926EJ-S CPU with 210 MHz Clock and MMU (Memory Management Unit).

They feature 8 Mbyte Flash, 32 Mbyte SDRAM, an 19-bit address and 16-bit data bus interface, 56 programmable GPIO pins and operate under the real time embedded Linux Lemonix (kernel 2.6.x).

A Development Kit as well as development environment including cross-compiler, simple code, documentation and Eclipse based IDE (LemonIDE) are available to accelerate integration and customization process [more...]

Eddy V2.0 Series

The Eddy V2.0 modules  based on a 32-bit ARM926EJ-S CPU with 180MHz Clock and MMU (Memory Management Unit).

They feature 4 Mbyte Flash, 32 Mbyte SDRAM, an 16-bit address and 8-bit data bus interface, 16 programmable GPIO pins and operate under the real time embedded Linux Lemonix (Kernel 2.6.x).

A Development Kit as well as development environment including cross-compiler, simple code, documentation and Eclipse based IDE (LemonIDE) are available to accelerate integration and customization process [more...]

Eddy V1.x Series

The Eddy V1.x modules based on a 32-bit ARM9 CPU with 168 MHz Clock and without MMU (Memory Management Unit).

They feature 4 Mbyte Flash memory, 8 Mbyte SDRAM,  an 8-bit address and 8-bit data bus interface, 17 programmable GPIO pins and operate under the embedded Linux (Kernel 2.4.x) System.

A Development Kit, as well as development environment including cross-compiler, simple code, documentation and tools are available to accelerate integration and customization process [more...]

SystemBase commits to long-term end-of-life expectancy for Eddy modules

SystemBase does not have any obsolescence plan for Eddy v2.0 & v2.1 series yet.
Moreover, SystemBase to produce Eddy v2.0 & v2.1 series for at least 5 years from their respective launch date.

SystemBase commits to a minimum end-of-life expectancy for Eddy v2.0 & v2.1 series as follows:

  •   Eddy v2.0 series EOL: not before 2013
  •   Eddy v2.1 series : not before 2014

Should you need an even longer EOL expectancy, please contact Trenz Electronic.
