Compliance-Manager/in (m/f/d)
Location: Hüllhorst-Oberbauerschaft | Full-time
Your tasks:
- Processing and responding to customer inquiries and compliance questionnaires on regulatory topics (e.g., REACH, RoHS, PFAS, TSCA, POP, CMRT)
- Creating, maintaining, and updating compliance documentation, standard responses, and customer declarations
- Identifying, analyzing, and assessing regulatory compliance risks
- Maintaining and further developing the compliance risk register in the SMART Process Tool (Risk Module)
- Conducting regulatory risk analyses for new products, processes, and projects
- Monitoring national and international legal requirements and assessing their impact on the company
- Developing, implementing, and updating internal compliance guidelines and regulations
- Coordinating and tracking corrective and improvement actions in the event of regulatory non-compliance
- Advising and supporting business units on all matters related to product compliance
- Preparing regular reports and recommendations for management
What you will bring:
- A college degree (e.g., in business law, engineering, environmental engineering, or industrial engineering) or comparable technical or business training with relevant continuing education
- Professional experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, quality management, or product compliance, ideally at a manufacturing company
- Strong knowledge of relevant legal requirements such as REACH, RoHS, PFAS, TSCA, POP, CMRT, and other product-specific compliance requirements
- An analytical and structured approach to work, along with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to take initiative
- Strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a confident demeanor
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
- Proficiency with LibreOffice; experience with compliance or risk management systems is a plus
